SALEM — Mt. Abram High School’s pottery class, taught by Alice Yates, is sponsoring an “Empty Bowl Supper” to help raise money for the local Salem Food Pantry.
It will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, in Mt. Abram’s cafeteria. The snow date will be the following day.
The class is creating their own unique bowls and the Personal Chef class will serve different soups and chowders. Patrons will be able to keep the bowl that they chose.
The event will have a $8 donation per person, which will provide a dinner and a bowl.
