This is in response to the story (Sun Journal, Friday, Jan. 16) about the new restaurant, Cavu Cafe, due to open next month at the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport.

I was happy to see that a new restaurant is opening at the airport, but a little upset that it sounds like it will be a more upscale cafe. I think that chef Molly Hill is missing the tarmac on that venture.

I wish it could be more like a diner, of which the Lewiston-Auburn doesn’t have many.

What’s wrong with having a diner, where good friends meet and chat over a good cup of coffee and such? A place where folks can grab a quick bite, or just sit and read the newspaper or meet new friends?

There are enough upscale places already.

Anyway, I still wish Cavu Cafe much success and friendly skies.
