LEWISTON — The City of Lewiston will shut down non-emergency city services at 3 p.m. because of Monday’s storm.

According to a statement from the city,  non-emergency services include City Hall, the Lewiston Public Library, City recreation offices; Public Works administration and the Solid Waste/Recycling and Landfill operation on River Road.

In Auburn, the city will postpone Monday’s City Council workshop and regular meeting until Feb. 9. Workshop topics include a review of Lead Grants and the city’s New Auburn plan. Regular meeting topics include zoning changes, rule changes for the Planning Board and a second vote on allowing alcohol at mass gatherings. Approving it would allow a country music festival this summer at the Auburn Lewiston Municipal Airport.
