PARIS — The Oxford Hills Area Clergy Association’s annual Lenten Luncheon Series will be held on Fridays from Feb. 20 through March 27 at First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St.
Cost is $6 for a lunch of soup, sandwich, coffee and cookies with all proceeds going to the clergy association’s shared community needs fund.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon. By 12:30 attendees will sing a hymn or two and then each week a different member of the area clergy will offer a Lenten reflection.
Speakers will be: Dallas Henry, Hosanna Church, Feb. 20; Peter Foss, Second Congregational, Feb. 27; Genise Stern, East Otisfield Free Baptist, March 6; Cynthia Riley, First Congregational, South Paris, March 13; Nancy Moore, Christ Church/Trinity Lutheran, March 20; and Don Mayberry, First Congregational, March 27.
This event is always a favorite as it allows the faith community from various churches to gather for shared worship during this sacred season.
