MEXICO — Ash Wednesday will be observed in a service at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Mexico Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (the “Green Church”), 163 Main St.

Also participating in this ecumenical service will be the Rumford Point Congregational United Church of Christ, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and Rumford United Methodist Church.

The community is invited to this observance of the beginning of the Season of Lent.
