NORWAY — Attendees at the next Healthy Oxford Hill’s Coalition meeting will hear from community elders as they respond to the question, “How are you doing in regards to maintaining quality of life, independence and planning for the future?”
Participants will also hear from caregivers of elder parents, neighbors, etc. who are in the room regarding the same question but with an eye towards lived experiences as caregivers.
The meeting will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Harper Conference Room in the Ripley Medical Building.
Join the discussion and feel free to bring an elder friend or neighbor.
It’s hoped that the information gleaned will inform members’ professional work as well as personal roles as community members and neighbors; it will also be forwarded to the facilitators of the appropriate work groups of the Maine Council on Aging.
RSVPs are helpful in ordering lunch; email chris@healthyoxfordhills.org or call 739-6222.
