Week of March 2

Classes beginning the week of March 2 are:

Reiki I: Reiki is an ancient art that channels energy through the hands to promote healing. You will learn hands-on methods of self-healing and receive a first degree attunement.

Quilling: This beautiful art is a paper-craft technique used to make coiled embellishments – flowers, hearts, butterflies, scrolls and more from colorful strips of paper for card making, scrapbooking and even jewelry. Learn to do basic shapes and create your own card. You will also receive basic tools to do your own quilling at home.

Make & Take Earrings: Fun for kids and adults. Make different styles of earrings with pearls, gemstones, crystals and fancy glass. Adults learn to wrap your own ear wires and posts. Children 8 and older must be accompanied by an adult. Single adults welcome.

Week of March 9

Classes starting the week of March 9 include:

Drilled Sea Glass Necklace: Learn the secrets to drilling glass, stones and shells. Add colorful beads and spirals using easy wire-wrapped loop techniques to create your own unique jewelry. Use the instructor’s collection of items or bring your favorites. Workshop fee includes all materials to make one pendant.

Alcohol Ink Painting: Experience the joy of painting with alcohol inks on yupo paper which results in unparalleled color, spontaneity and vibrancy. There is no experience required and all supplies are included.

Week of March 16

Classes starting the week of March 16 include:

Glass Stone Magnets: Learn how to make magnets using glass stones. Materials will be supplied and each student will take home a set of magnets.

Make Delicious Dog Treats: Prepare dog cookies with simple healthy canine treat recipes. Take home samples and recipes. Also learn how to make gluten/corn-free cookies for dogs with food allergies.

Vision Boarding: A Vision Board is a tool to help you establish a goal and maintain your focus. Find out how to create a Vision Board, also called dream board, inspiration board or treasure map that depicts the future you want for yourself. Please bring scissors and magazines.

AHA First Aid & Adult CPR: This class features master cardiopulmonary resuscitation and foreign body airway obstruction management techniques for adults. This course is useful for elementary through high school students, neighborhood groups and people caring for adults at a high risk of heart attacks or strokes.
