ANSWER: Sun Spots has done much research to find a contact person for the local little leagues. One contact gave me the name of another contact who gave me the name of another contact who did not respond to Sun Spots’ query. Perhaps a reader will know who you can contact to get answers to your questions. Keep in mind that the local little leagues usually run advertisements in the Sun Journal for registration and those ads should have contact information.

ANSWER: The Christmas song, made popular by Rosemary Clooney in 1951, was written by Roy C. Bennett and Sid Tepper. It is a yuletide favorite that has since been recorded by dozens of other artists. Here are the lyrics:

ANSWER: Sun Spots suggests speaking with a professional dry cleaner for solutions to laundering the baptismal outfit and the quilt. After speaking with a few sources for an answer, it seems that is the best route to go. While there are special products that can be purchased for vintage clothing and quilts, it’s still risky and there is no guarantee that your material won’t fall apart. The dry cleaner may be able to inspect the fabric and offer other suggestions rather than using a washing machine.
