LISBON — Bruce and Anne Jipson of Hancock are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Jipson of Lisbon, to Jared Blake of Lisbon, son of Karen Sylvain of Freeport and Lester Blake of Pownal.

Miss Jipson is a 2010 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She is currently working at the Durham Community School.

Mr. Blake is a 2005 graduate of Freeport High School and is currently employed by AAA, Med Care Ambulance and the town of Lisbon. He is also a volunteer firefighter and EMT.

The wedding is planned for June 13 at the First Parish Congregational Church in Pownal.
