FARMINGTON — A Vienna woman involved in a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in Phillips last year will not be sentenced for two years, according to a plea agreement Friday in Franklin County Superior Court.

Kimberly Webber, 25, of Vienna pleaded guilty to a felony charge of conspiracy to commit trafficking in scheduled drugs on Feb. 4 in exchange for dismissing a felony charge of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.

She has spent six months in jail and is the last of four co-defendants to plead guilty in the drug-making operation on Rangeley Road in Phillips that was broken up on July 15, 2014.

A detective stopped a Jeep driven by Jason Fowler, 40, of Chesterville, who had had been under investigation by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office since July 9 after receiving information from a confidential informant. Investigators found items in the Jeep consistent with making methamphetamine, a highly addictive stimulant.

Webber was a passenger in the vehicle and had control of some of the drug in the car, according to a drug agent’s affidavit filed with the court.

Webber’s agreement with the state requires that she not possess or use methamphetamine or possess any precursors used to make the drug. If she successfully completes the terms of the agreement, she will be able to withdraw her plea to the felony charge and plead to a misdemeanor charge of furnishing, Assistant District Attorney Joshua Robbins said.

Webber is scheduled to return to court March 3, 2017.
