LEWISTON — Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sturgis of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Sturgis, to Nicholas Mathon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mathon of Lewiston.

Miss Sturgis is a 2010 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. She is currently teaching at SKCDC in Augusta.

Mr. Mathon is a 2010 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. He is employed at the Louis Berger Group in Portland.

The wedding will be held on Oct. 10 at the Falmouth Country Club.
