The Sun Journal article about Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. bringing in my firewood (Feb. 26) was well written and photographed. His help and caring way are very much appreciated.

I also want to mention that I have a family of angels living on a farm just down the road. Jeff and Ashley Bessey lead a very busy life but they have been checking on me daily, doing errands, etc., and blessing me with lovely visits.

Also precious friends Armond and Lois Daggett, who are always “ready-on-the-spot.”

With many wonderful friends dropping off delicious food and treats, writing stories for me to read, I can only wish that all elderly folk had my good fortune.
