LEWISTON — The 12th anniversary Chili and Chowder taste challenge to benefit Longley Elementary School. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Ramada Conference Center, 490 Pleasant St. The event is overseen by Chef Dan Caron of Lewiston Regional Technical Center’s Culinary Arts program, with area restaurants participating. Tickets are $10, children 10 and under $5; first 100 people will receive a soup ladle.
AUBURN — Special public meeting to discuss changes to the way the city regulates yard sales and flea markets at 6 p.m. in the Community Room on the second floor of Auburn Hall.
