Team outlook: Monmouth will have to find a replacement for Marques Houston, who won state titles in both the 200-meter dash and the 400 dash. The boys do have scoring in the distance events with Luke Combs. He placed fourth at MVCs in the 1,600 and 3,200. The girls’ team has a wealth of depth. It scored points in 12 events at the conference meet last year. Sydney Wilson placed second at MVCs in the javelin.
