LEWISTON — Allstate agency owner Patti Gagne recently received the Agency Hands in the Community Award from the company for her commitment to helping others.

With the award came a $1,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation, which will go to The Root Cellar and the Trinity Jubilee Center in Lewiston, where Gagne volunteers.

The Allstate Foundation awards more than $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of Allstate agency owners who give back. To be eligible for nomination, Allstate agency owners must with volunteer, mentor or lead a nonprofit of their choice.
