Where’s the Love?

Has the love for God and others grown cold?

When I was a child things were so different.

We had love and we had commitment.

We had each other which was always expected;

There was a love for God and each other that we all respected.

The simplest things always mattered the most,

Whether food on the table or just burnt toast.

Do we as a people still have love for family and God or does an old fashioned way of living seem quite odd?

The world around us is out of control.

We are feeding the fires that burn the soul.

We must get back to the love that is real

We can’t let this negative world steal our zeal.

If only we had chosen the garden and not war?

Every wound would have faded and every broken heart would love again.

There are much better things ahead then we’ve left behind.

So keep the faith and love and shine, shine, shine!
