RUMFORD — Funeral services for Joseph A. Elliott, of Rumford, were conducted at noon Monday, May 18, at the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., P.O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques officiating.
Music selections included “Amazing Grace” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” Words of remembrance were given by daughter, Brenda McCallister; niece, Patti Paul, who also read the poem “My Uncle;” and nephew, Michael Errington. A reception followed at 49 Franklin in Rumford.
Interment with military honors from the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.
