FARMINGTON — The City Lights North Summer Camp will hold classes from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily beginning June 24. Classes end with a final performance July 12.
The camp describes this as an intensive program. All participants are expected to take all classes.
The camp will also have a special ballet class for younger children, old enough to behave; parents must take the class with the child. These classes will be held each day at noon in the first floor studio.
Apart from the children’s camp they will also have an evening stretch and dance class for adults from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every evening. There will also be an acting element as part of these adult master classes.
The teachers include: Adrienne Hawkins of Impulse Dance and University of Mass., Russell Ferguson, director of Side Street Dance, Chu Ling of Chu Ling Chinese Dance Academy, Tiara Anderson of Boston City Lights, Nova Dawn and Duggan Hill, director of Boston City Lights.
Classes will cover several styles of dance, singing, acting and theatrical sabre fencing.
