AUBURN — A local woman criminally charged in a Halloween night car accident pleaded guilty Tuesday to two related misdemeanors.

Sarah Wysocki, 35, of 24 Laurel Ave., entered guilty pleas in Androscoggin County Superior Court to driving to endanger and endangering the welfare of a child.

Misdemeanor charges of operating after suspension and disorderly conduct were dismissed.

Under the terms of an agreement with the Androscoggin County District Attorney’s Office, Wysocki would be allowed to withdraw her guilty plea to the charge of endangering the welfare of a child a year from now if she were to comply with conditions of the agreement. They include no use or possession of alcohol and illegal drugs, being subject to random searches and not to be present at any establishment that primarily serves alcohol.

She would pay a $575 fine and lose her license for 30 days.

If she were to violate the terms of the agreement, she could be sentenced on both misdemeanor charges.

Police said in an affidavit that Wysocki was leaving the parking lot of Mac’s Seafood at about 9:40 p.m. on Oct. 31, 2014, and turned the wrong way onto Minot Avenue. Several children who were passengers in her car suffered minor injuries when her car collided with a tractor-trailer truck.

Police said in court records that Wysocki’s license had been suspended or revoked at the time of the accident for operating under the influence or a drunken driving-related offense.
