LEWISTON — A memorial service celebrating the life of Clayton D. Gilliam was held Monday evening, June 8, at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home with the Rev. Lissa Bradford presiding.

During the service, Clay’s nephew sang and played the song “Hallelujah” on his guitar. Clay’s children, Corie Shara and Melissa, sang a special song as a tribute to their dad.

A delegation from the motorcycle group, The Patriot Riders, were also in attendance.

The United States Army honor detail played taps and presented our country’s flag to Clay’s wife, Anita, in recognition of her husband’s two tours of duty in Vietnam.

At the conclusion of services, Clay’s urn was placed on Matt Young’s “Iron Motorcycle Hearse” for Clay’s final ride, along with his beloved Patriot Riders around the shores of Lake Auburn and back to his residence in Lewiston, where his wife will keep his urn.

A reception of fellowship was then held at the family residence in Lewiston. Arrangement by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home,
