JAY — Funeral services for Evelyn Donald Durrell of Jay were held Sunday afternoon, May 31, at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton, with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as celebrant.
Her niece, Carol Ross, sang “Amazing Grace.” Additionally, her favorite hymns, “In The Garden” and “How Great Thou Art” were played. Her grandchildren, Karen Goedtzfridt-Gidney, Chris Gidney, Ryan Newgard, Patrick Spiotta and Adam Spiotta and nephew, John Donald, served as pallbearers.
Burial was on the family lot at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton.
