PARIS — The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office responded to 192 calls for service from June 1 to 8. Among them were:

* At 11:39 p.m. June 7, Deputy Richard Murray received information from an Ossipee Trail address about a possible gross sexual assault that occurred in Porter.

* At 10:49 p.m. June 7, a Washburn Pond Road resident in Woodstock received a warning following two reports of fireworks being fired off. Deputy Nathan Bowie said the resident was cooperative when he advised her of Maine’s fireworks regulations.
 
* At 6:46 p.m. June 7, a deputy was requested to assist subjects stranded at a boat launch in Hiram. Murray checked the Hiram, Brownfield and Fryeburg boat launches, but did not find the people. When called again, the phone number given went to voice mail.
 
* At 3:19 p.m. June 7, Deputy Bowie responded to a theft complaint at a Bolsters Mills Road address in Otisfield. A bucket loader tractor and an industrial-type generator were stolen from an unoccupied residence. The caretaker told Bowie that he had last checked the residence on June 1.
 
* At 10:56 a.m. June 7, Sgt. Tim Ontengco responded to a request for an officer at Boulder Brook Circle on Kezar Lake in Lovell for a report that two boats that didn’t belong to anyone in the association were tied to docks. Ontengco learned that a local marina had delivered the boats to the wrong address. The marina has since resolved the matter.
 
* At 10:21 a.m. June 7, Sgt. Ontengco handled a request for an officer at a Hio Road address in Denmark for a report that phone lines had been tampered with, causing phone/Internet outages. He said the phone company had to repair the damage. The area was canvassed and nearby residents were advised to report any suspicious activity. Ontengco said the problem is believed to be related to a neighbor.
 
* At 9:12 p.m. June 6, Sgt. Timothy Holland responded to a School Street home in Canton to investigate the theft of a 50-inch television set.

* At 9:03 a.m. on June 6, Deputy Andrew Whitney responded to Lovell to assist Fryeburg Rescue with a disoriented elderly man who had been reported missing from New Hampshire. The man was taken to a nearby hospital and his family was notified, Whitney said.
