DIXFIELD — The Board of Selectmen will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, to elect a chairman and vice chairman, and to address the six municipal budgets not approved at the June 9 referendum.

On the morning after the vote, Ballot Warden Theresa Hemingway said residents voted down budgets for the executive department, regional expenses, reserve fund, debt service and property tax levy limit.

Residents also rejected authorizing the Board of Selectmen to use up to $10,000 from the Ione Harlow Dixfield Community Fund to purchase and install an electronic message board at the Town Office on Main Street. That vote was 302-437.
