1927 – 2015

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Pauline M. Ouellette Turgeon, 87, a longtime resident of Westbrook and Florida, died peacefully Thursday, June 11, with her sons by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 20, 1927, the daughter of Napoleon and Regina Ouellette.

Pauline enjoyed cooking and entertaining. All who knew her sampled her skill in the kitchen when visiting. She was a member of the Portland Country Club for many years, a connection that introduced her to many lifelong friends.

Her love for her grandchildren was evident by the hours spent having marathon card games. Everyone in her life was important to her, but none were more important than her five boys. Pauline exemplified what it is to be a mother; her devotion to her boys was remarkable. She was always there to provide them with support, encouragement and love. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include Daniel and wife, Maureen, of Virginia; Rene of Ft. Myers, Fla.; Allan and wife, Suzanne, of Auburn; Jim of Westbrook, and John and wife, Mary, of Saco; five grandsons; and one great-grandson.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Dr. Ralph Turgeon.
