ANSWER: Responsible Pet Care will host a Fun Dog Day at the Oxford Fairgrounds, 68 Pottle Road, all day on Sunday, June 28. Their press release states: The sponsored dog walk is short and suitable for families and people of all abilities. Gather your pledges and join as a team or individual, with or without a dog.
Download a pledge form at www.rpc.petfinder.com or stop by the shelter at 9 Swallow Road in Paris. Prizes, T-shirts, and dog-themed gifts included for all registered walkers. All proceeds benefit the 700-plus homeless dogs and cats cared for annually at Responsible Pet Care’s no-kill, non-profit shelter. Free activities during Fun Dog Day include a dog show, pup tent for kids activities, water park for dogs, working dog and agility demonstrations, and dog games. The event will include food, vendor and educational booths.
