MYSTIC, Conn. — The wedding of Brianna LaBrecque and Scott Barnes was held on May 15 at Mystic Arts Center in Mystic, Conn. Jean Tardif, godmother of the bride and notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Barnes is the daughter of Tim and Stephanie LaBrecque of Jay. Mr. Barnes is the son of Bill and Carol Barnes-Craig of Mystic, Conn., and the late Robert Barnes.
Matron of honor was Danica Valentine, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachel Skvasik and April Stevens, friends of the bride.
Serving as best man for his brother was Mike Barnes. Groomswomen were Kristin Cramer and Eleanor DiNoto.
The couple traveled to Aruba for their wedding trip and they are currently residing in Rensselaer, N.Y.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., and recently accepted a new position with Cronin and Company, a public relations firm based in Glastonbury, Conn. She is a public relations account executive, working out of the company’s Albany, N.Y., office.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., and is currently employed as a team leader in New Hire Fulfillment at Pitney Bowes in Troy, N.Y.
