Local students named to Boston University dean’s list
BOSTON — Studentss have recently been named to the dean’s list at Boston University for the spring semester.

Local residents graduate from Boston University
BOSTON — Boston University awarded academic degrees to 6,100 students in May.
Receiving degrees were local students:
Nathan D. Fairchild, of Lewiston, Bachelor of Arts in music and philosophy and political Science, summa cum laude; Brittany A. Martin, of Lewiston, Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design, summa cum laude; Katherine H. Rice, of Farmington, Bachelor of Arts in history, magna cum laude; and Jeremy R. Bernier, of Auburn, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education.
Stonehill College announces spring 2015 dean’s list
EASTON, Mass. — The following local residents were named to the Spring 2015 Dean’s List at Stonehill College.
Rebecca-Marie Lessard of Lewiston, Ashley DeBlois of Auburn, Joy Harrington of Lewiston, Abigail Morton of Norway, Constance Hodge of Topsham and Emily Schario of Auburn.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must have a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.
University of Hartford announces dean’s list
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The University of Hartford has announced the following local students have been named to the dean’s list for spring 2015.
Kelsey Liljedahl of Fryeburg, Natalie Van Baars of Raymond, Tiffany Levesque of Lewiston, Megan Pare of Lewiston and Alicia Rowe of Livermore Falls.
Providence College announces dean’s list
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list at Providence College for the spring 2015 semester:
Cassandra Gordan of Raymond, member of the class of 2015, Morgan Lee of Bethel, member of the class of 2015 and Jacob O’Neill of Raymond, member of the class of 2015.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must achieve at least a 3.55 GPA with a minimum of 12 credits.
Local students graduate from Castleton College
CASTLETON, Vt. — The following students recently graduated Castleton College following the successful completion of the spring semester in May.
Christopher Belanger of Lewiston, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in theater
Samantha Largess of Newry, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in health science
Timothy Smith of Farmington, graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work in social work, sociology.
Local students named to Colby College dean’s list
WATERVILLE — Local students were named to the dean’s list at Colby College in Waterville for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2014-15 year. The dean’s list at Colby is highly selective, this spring reserved for students with a semester grade point average of 3.76 or higher.
Xiaojie Chen of Wilton is a member of the Class of 2016. He is the son of Liting and Sumei Chen of Wilton and attended Mount Blue High School.
Megan Labbe of Jay is a member of the Class of 2016. She is the daughter of Tracy Arcari and Peter Labbe of Jay and attended Spruce Mountain High School.
