AUBURN — Auburn police have charged Ryan Laflamme, 35, of Auburn with two felony counts of burglary, two charges of theft, operating after suspension and failure to stop for police on Thursday.
According to a written statement by Deputy Chief Jason Moen, at approximately 11 a.m., Auburn police responded to a report of a burglary in progress on Trapp Road.
According to Moen, police received eyewitness information about a man seen leaving a residence and fleeing the area in a vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle traveling on Poland Road. After stopping Laflamme, police discovered evidence that connected him to a daytime burglary that occurred Wednesday on Fletcher Road in Auburn.
Laflamme was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail, where he is being held on $1,000 cash bail.
