LEWISTON — Lonnie Hopkins and Sharon Margoni Hopkins announce the engagement of their son, Shannon Hopkins. He is a graduate of Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., and is owner of Hopkins Pro Shop Inc. in Richmond, Va.

The future bride is Shannon Sivils, daughter of Linda Sivils of Baton Rouge, La., and the late Dan Sivils. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is employed at CBS 6 as a promotion director in Richmond, Va.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 22 at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond, Va.

The couple will reside in Richmond, Va.
