LEBANON — An adult male remains in critical condition Monday night after his car ended up partially in a stream off Fall Road on Sunday night.
The man’s car struck a guardrail on a bridge and then crossed to the other side before careening into the small stream below, according to Maine State Police Trooper Mike Lane.
Although the driver’s side of the car landed on land at 32 Fall Road, the passenger side of the car was submerged in the stream and the driver was trapped in the vehicle. A neighbor smashed the back window and pulled the man from the car. Emergency Medical Technicians were tending to the man when Lane arrived on the scene. The man was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland and was listed in critical condition.
The man’s name was not being released by police Monday night.
