AUGUSTA (AP) — A Maine government survey says the average statewide cash price for heating oil fell 12 cents from three weeks ago.

The Governor’s Energy Office says the average price was $2.33 a gallon. The average kerosene price fell 10 cents to $2.90 and propane prices fell 10 cents to $2.32.

The highest price for heating oil in the state was $2.65 in northern Maine while the low price of $1.90 was found in the southwestern part of the state.

Southwestern Maine had the highest average price for kerosene at $2.97, while the average propane price topped out at $2.49 in northern Maine.
