DEAR SUN SPOTS: Love your column very much. I would like to know if you have a name and phone number of a Tupperware dealer. If so, they could reach me at 207-998-4368. Thank you very much. — No Name, No Town.

ANSWER: Last year, Sun Spots was asked a similar question and replied: It has been a while since Sun Spots has had a Tupperware question, so she doesn’t have a current seller in her Rolodex. You can buy some replacement lids at tupperware.com.

You can also search for a local consultant based on your address on the website, http://order.tupperware.com/coe/app/tup_party.consultant_finder

Meanwhile, anybody out there sell Tupperware?

Sun Spots received these responses last year:

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Hello and thank you in advance for taking the time to read my request and for your assistance. In the towns of Mexico/Rumford, I’d like to start a pickle ball program (exercise class) for our senior citizens, but don’t have the funds to do it now. Would you know of any groups or individuals who would donate their pickle ball equipment to the Mexico Recreation Department for our seniors?

I read in a Sun Jounal newspaper article about a dentist in Farmington who loves to play pickle ball and he’s inspired me to make it available to our seniors. Thank you so very much for all of the kind things that you do and for your super column. — Mitzi C. Sequoia, mitzisequoia@roadrunner.com, 207-364-7400.

ANSWER: Sun Spots does not know of any person or organization who wants to donate pickle ball equipment at this time, but this column is a great place to ask. Anyone have equipment to donate to the Mexico Recreation Department?

DEAR READERS: Just a reminder that Sun Spots is not a column for selling items. You can use this column to give away items for free. Also, it is not a column for asking for things for free unless you are a nonprofit or if the item has little value such as empty baby food jars. Individuals must be willing to pay a reasonable fee for items they are seeking that they have been unable to find through other means. If you have items to sell, please call the Sun Journal’s classified ads department at 800-482-0935 or 207-783-2281. Thanks.
