LIVERMORE FALLS — A tractor-trailer truck attempting to turn right at the intersection of Church and Main streets Thursday morning struck the roof overhang of the Foss Jewelry building.

The driver, Steve Turner, 78, of Holden, was not injured, Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

The International tractor-trailer is owned by SVS Inc. of Holden.

No one was injured.

Sgt. Vernon Stevens estimated the damage to the overhang at $500 to $700. The trailer was also damaged, he said.
