WINTHROP — Jeanne R. Hatch, 73, a resident of Winthrop, formerly of North Monmouth, died Saturday, July 25, at her home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1942 in Monmouth, the daughter of Ronald W. F. and Germaine H. (Lachapelle) Harris. Jeanne was a 1960 graduate of Monmouth Academy. After graduation, she went to work as a clerical secretary for Carlton Woolen Mills in Winthrop. She enjoyed reading and knitting.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathleen Crocker and her husband, Leonard, of Monmouth, and Lynne Grivois of Winthrop; a son, Mark R. Allen of Leeds; four grandchildren, Erin Crocker, Jarred Arbour, Ethan Crocker and Evan Arbour; a great-grandson, Ace James Globensky; great-granddaughter, Annalyse Chandler; her sister, Roxanne Ridlon and her husband, Hubert, of Florida; a brother, Roger and Patricia Harris of North Monmouth; her brother-in-law, Richard Merrill of East Winthrop; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Ellen Gosselin and Marie Fisher. At Jeanne’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
