SACO — Michael E. Martin, 62, of Saco died Monday, Aug. 3, at his home.
He was born in Portland on Aug. 14, 1952, the son of Edward and Beverly Parsons Martin. He graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1970 and enjoyed working in group homes for adults with disabilities.
He married Sharon Crowley in July 2000. He loved fishing and hunting with his best friend, Bones, and his uncle, Junior, and rabbit-hunting with his beagle, Dingle. He loved the outdoors and his hometown of Harrison.
He is survived by his wife of Saco; his mother of Harrison; a sister, Nancy Hudson and her husband, Henry, of Harrison; several stepchildren and their families; two children, Kim and Dan, and their families; two nieces, Jenny Record and her fiancé, Casey, of Harrison, and Linsey Record and her fiancée, Alison, of South Paris; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father and his grandparents.
