AUBURN — Budget reviews for two agencies scheduled for Wednesday by the Androscoggin County Commission have been postponed for one week.
Commissioners had originally intended to review proposed budgets for 10 county agencies during tonight’s workshop. But County Clerk Patricia Fournier said Wednesday morning that budget reviews for the Androscoggin-Sagadahoc Extension Association and Androscoggin Valley Soil Conservation District have been moved to Wednesday, Aug. 26.
The eight county departments expected to present their 2016 budget tonight are the Emergency Management Agency, Superior Court, Victim/Advocate Restitution Specialist, District Attorney, District Attorney – Joint Budget, Victim-Witness Advocate Grant, Registry of Deeds and Registry of Probate.
The budget workshop will follow the completion of Wednesday’s regular meeting, which begins at 5:15 p.m., and includes two executive sessions.
