1936 – 2015
AUBURN — Annie L. McInnis, 78, of Lewiston died Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin after a long illness with her family by her side.
Born in Lewiston on Nov. 3, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Jeannette (Channdonette) Stankis. Annie attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and Lewiston High School. She was the wife of Frederick McInnis, who died in 1988.
Annie was a member and past state president of the Women’s Emblem Club of the Elks Lodge.
She loved to cook, play cards, shop and travel, and enjoyed family get-togethers, casinos and Broadway shows.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Kramer of Wisconsin; two sons, Stephen Beaudin and his companion, Kristine Brushwein, of Lewiston, and Dean Beaudin and his companion, Elaine Brown, of Lewiston; a sister, Carol Pinard and her husband, Robert, of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank St. Mary’s Intensive Care Unit and the Hospice House of Androscoggin for their great care given to Annie.
