Season outlook: The Red Eddies return much of last year’s team that reached the state finals and lost to Windham. Sarah Hammond was an all-state defender and EL has some experience in the midfield and in back. The Red Eddies did lose some significant talent from last year. Both Murrays and Smith were all-state players and Paione was a proven scorer up front. EL should still be a formidable club but a number of players will be stepping into larger roles.
