Nadeau makes dean’s list
PAXTON, Mass. — Amanda Nadeau of Auburn has been named to Anna Maria College’s dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester.
Church awards Hartwell Pratt Scholarships
MINOT — The Minot United Methodist Church has announced the recipients of this year’s Hartwell Pratt Scholarship Grant. Eight grants of $1,000 each were awarded to Tyler Sturtevant, Emily Parisi, Olivia Foster, Elizabeth Callahan, Cullen Lajoie, Savanna Patenaude, Sarah Choroszy and Develan Abbott.
The Hartwell Pratt Scholarship Grant was set up by the Minot United Methodist Church to remember Pratt, who gave part of his estate to the church. The scholarship is open to church members and members of their immediate family each spring.
Colgate University announces bicentennial class

Utica College announces dean’s list
UTICA, N.Y. — The following students have been announced to the dean’s list for spring 2015 at Utica College with a GPA of 3.4 or higher.
Joshua M. Day, of Auburn, completing a certificate in financial crimes investigation.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute awards medal, scholarship
TROY, N.Y. — For more than 90 years, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in conjunction with high schools around the world, has awarded the Rensselaer Medal and scholarship to promising high school juniors who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science.
Rensselaer has announced that Nathaniel Bennett of Oxford is this year’s winner of the 2015 Rensselaer Medal. Bennett is a student at Hebron Academy.
Rumford native graduates from Bates College
LEWISTON — Erin Milligan, daughter of Sherry N. Milligan of Rumford, graduated from Bates College with a major in economics. She is a 2011 graduate of Mountain Valley High School.
Lewiston student attains dean’s list
Aniso Bare of Lewiston has been named to the dean’s list at Berkeley College for the spring 2015 quarter.
Berkeley College students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the dean’s list.
Lewiston resident named to UMass Lowell dean’s list
LOWELL, Mass. — Morgan Bowen of Lewiston was recently recognized for achieving academic distinction at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Bowen, majoring in biology, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have completed no fewer than 12 graded credits for the semester and earned at least a 3.25 GPA with no grade lower than C and without any incompletes.
