Last year’s results: Boys: Second at KVACSs, second at regionals, sixth at states and two New England qualifiers; Girls: fifth at KVACs, fourth at regionals/14th at states.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Sophomore — Zeke Robinson; Freshmen — Jesse Dalton, Jerry Mixangelo, Ian Berry, Hunter Hutchins; Girls: Senior — Adelle Richards; Junior — Grace Andrews, Julia Ramsey, Brooklyn Winters, Zoe Huish; Sophomore — Audrey Keith; Freshmen — Maeve Hickey, Annaset Jackson, Chelsea Seabold, McKenzie Seaward, Talazen Smith.

Season outlook: With several key losses, the boys will begin a rebuilding year. Depth and returning talent should help make the Cougars have a smooth transition into the new season. The boys are hoping to continue to be a force at the KVAC and regional level. This girls’ team has key returners and a large number of newcomers who will bring both depth and talent to this young squad. The girls are hoping to improve upon last year’s record and are excited to start this new season.
