As an active follower of Lewiston City Council proceedings, a Lewiston homeowner and public school parent, I have been consistently impressed by the well-informed and thoughtful leadership of Ward 5 City Councilor Kristen Cloutier.
No matter the issue, Councilor Cloutier’s questions and positions are rooted in the evidence and in a deep caring for Lewiston’s citizens and future.
In a sometimes polarizing environment, she listens respectfully to all voices and tries to find bipartisan solutions to difficult problems.
She is also one of our hardest-working councilors, representing the City Council on the Lewiston School Committee and serving on the city’s Comprehensive Plan Committee, the LPS Proficiency Based Learning Committee, the Lewiston-Auburn Public Health Committee and the Community Advisory Board for USM-LA, among others.
Lewiston residents are fortunate to have Kristen Cloutier serving this city with such intelligence and commitment. She deserves to be re-elected this November.
