Community Concepts in Paris and Lewiston are hosting the Quick Start Workshop Series, a series of six workshops for anyone who is thinking of starting a new business or has recently started a business.

They are designed to provide all of the essential information and material for starting a business, from forms for registering a business name, forms for applying for an EIN number, to creating a business plan, cash flow forecasting, marketing and financial information.

The workshops will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings starting Sept. 16 at Community Concepts, 17 Market Square, Paris; and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings starting Sept. 17 at Community Concepts, 240 Bates St., Lewiston.

The Paris workshop instructors include Dana Hanley, Esq., of Hanley & Associates; Daryl Cote, CPA, with Ouellette & Associates, P.A.; Christina Twitchell with TD Bank; and members of the Oxford Hills SCORE team of business counselors including Steve Veazey, John Huffman and Charlie Peabody. The Lewiston workshop instructors include Steve Veazey, John Huffman and Charlie Peabody, plus an attorney, an accountant and a loan officer.

Cost to register for the whole workshop series is $35 and $10 to register for an individual workshop.
