NEW SHARON — A Penobscot Nation warden was injured Friday night when he suffered a medical issue on Route 2, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said.
The incident caused Warden Troy Francis, 43, of Hampden, to temporarily lose control of his warden truck, which went off the road, rolled over and struck trees, the sheriff said.
Francis’ injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital, evaluated and released, Nichols said.
New Sharon Fire Department assisted Deputies Kevin Hartley and Andrew Morgan at the scene.
