RUMFORD — The Police Department responded to the following calls in the past week.

* Sept. 20 at 1:27 a.m.: Anthony True, 32, of Rumford, was arrested on Lincoln Avenue on a charge of domestic violence assault by Officer Matthew Desroches. True was released on $800 unsecured bail from the Rumford Police Department and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 13.

* Sept. 19 at 10:55 p.m.: Report of tires slashed on Waldo Street. Cpl. Lawrence Winson and Patrolman Desroches investigated. A 31-year-old Rumford man was summoned on a charge of criminal mischief and is to appear in court Nov. 9.

* Sept. 17 at 11:08 a.m.: Chad J. Oliver, 31, of Starks was arrested on a charge of violating a protection order. He was transported to Oxford County Jail in Paris and  is to appear in Rumford District Court at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 13.

* Sept. 16 at 1:27 p.m.: Lawrence Hatt, 26, of Newry was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on two warrants charging probation revocation on domestic violence. Hatt was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

* Sept. 15 10:29 p.m.: Joshua Bennett, 25, of Rumford was arrested on a warrant for violation of a protection from abuse. Bennett was transported to Oxford County Jail.

* Sept. 15 at 9:18 p.m.: India Thompson, 25, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release on Lincoln Avenue. She was released on unsecured bail with a court date of Oct. 13.

* Sept. 13 at 2:25 a.m.: A Lochness Road resident reported a theft of medication from his residence. Patrolman Brad Gallant is investigating.

* Sept. 12 at 1:35 p.m.: A Hall Hill Road resident reported a burglary and theft at his residence. A large amount of ammunition was stolen. Sgt. James Bernard is investigating.
