1960 – 2015
LEWISTON — Wayne T. Kyllonen, 54, of Poland passed away Monday, Oct. 5, at Central Maine Medical Center.
Wayne was born in Portland on Nov. 3, 1960, a son of Thomas and Beverly (Morse) Kyllonen. He attended Mechanic Falls schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1979.
He owned and operated Wayne’s Auto Body in Poland. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and camping at Pemaquid Point. Wayne was a
NASCAR fan and had raced at Oxford Plains Speedway. He was also a self-proclaimed meteorologist.
He married Joyce Godin on Oct. 9, 1981.
Wayne leaves behind his wife, Joyce of Poland; two sons, Craig Kyllonen and his wife, Holly, of New York City, and Kyle Kyllonen and his girlfriend, Hannah Bard, of Auburn; his mother, Beverly of Norway; his brother, Michael Kyllonen and his wife, Deborah, of Mechanic Falls; a brother-in-law of Hawaii; and his companion, Herman the Pug.
Wayne is predeceased by his father; paternal grandparents, Urho and Christine Kyllonen; and his maternal grandparents, Alice and Charles Baker.
