Bulldogs survived Cheverus and Windham. Barring a shocking upset (three remaining opponents have losing records), they will carry that zero into November.
2. Windham 4-1 (2)
By comparison, the Eagles will enter the playoffs battle-tested. Bonny Eagle, Cheverus still remain on October slate.
3. Thornton 4-1 (3)
Trojans won showdown for South division supremacy with Scarborough by six touchdowns. Hard to imagine this week’s scrap with Massabesic being any closer.
4. Brunswick 5-0 (4)
Dragons’ two-week road swing to Brewer and Mt. Blue will sort out home field advantage for Class B North playoffs.
5. Cheverus 3-2 (5)
Stags stood toe-to-toe with Portland and will only get better as we march into the games that matter most.
6. Falmouth 5-0 (7)
Yachtsmen’s win over Leavitt showed not only that they’re legit, but that Connor Aube had better be a Fitzy semifinalist.
7. Marshwood 4-1 (8)
The two remaining unbeaten teams in Class B South, Kennebunk and Falmouth, must survive the reigning state champions next two Friday nights.
8. Bonny Eagle 3-2 (-)
Scots have won three consecutive games after losing two games they probably would win now, if given a do-over.
9. Kennebunk 5-0 (-)
Doesn’t mean much as long as they keep winning, but Rams’ opponents’ winning percentage of .375 is worst in Class B South Crabtree standings.
10. Skowhegan 4-1 (6)
One week after getting trampled by Will Bessey, Skowhegan will have to tackle Messalonskee’s Jack Bernatchez in order to stay in the countdown.
