Local students named to dean’s list

LEWISTON — Local students were named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the semester ending in April. This is a distinction earned by students whose cumulative GPA is 3.71 or higher.

The following students received this honor:

Jed Quint, son of William C. Hiss and Colleen J. Quint of Minot, a 2012 graduate of Poland Regional High School. He is majoring in economics.

Audrey Burns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Jay Burns of Topsham, a 2013 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School. She is majoring in rhetoric and theater.

Paul Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark O. Phillips of New Gloucester, a 2014 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School.
