Mystery Photo for October 18, 2015

Although there were numerous correct answers, there were more than a dozen people incorrectly identify last week’s Mystery Photo as being at the Shaker Village, Pineland Center or Boothbay Railway Museum. The winner, chosen in a random drawing, was Sheila Clifford of Sabattus. She knew that the photo is of the building locator for the Monmouth Museum in downtown Monmouth. The museum is a complex of 9 buildings that offer extensive collections providing a look at life in rural 19th century Maine. Buildings include the Blacksmith Shop, Carriage House, Freight Shed, Cobbler Shop and the Blossom House. Clifford is the winner of a $10 Subway gift card.
