DIXFIELD — The Mt. Abram Roadrunners scored in the final minute to defeat the Dirigo Cougars 1-0 in boys’ soccer action Monday.
With 46 seconds remaining, Luke Romanoski found Court Talmage, who fired the ball at the 18-yard mark.
Seth Thomas made 11 saves for the clean sheet for Mt. Abram, while Randy DeRoche stopped 10 shots for Dirigo.
Girls’ soccer
Hall-Dale 3, Mt. Abram 1
SALEM — Lilly Ly had a hand in both of the Hall-Dale Bulldogs’ goals in the first half as the Bulldogs defeated the Mt. Abram Roadrunners 3-1 in girls’ soccer action.
Ly set up Emily Drappeau for the first goal of the game 2:45 into the contest. Ly found the back of the net with 26:55 remaining in the first half when Addie Davis found her on a cross.
Dani Sweet scored early in the second half to give the Bulldogs (11-2-1) a 3-0 lead.
Lindsey Huff scored the lone goal for the Roadrunners (4-7-3), with Alice Cockerham picking up the assist.
Hailey Taker made 10 saves for Hall-Dale while Abby Brackley stopped eight shots for Mt. Abram.
Poland 2, NYA 1
POLAND — The Poland Knights girls’ soccer team earned their third win of the season with a 2-1 victory over the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers.
Leya Harvey and Kytriana Pratt scored the Knights’ (3-10-1) goals, with Harvey scoring in the first half and Pratt in the second half. Pratt’s goal was assisted by Tia Cote.
Isabelle Coleman scored the lone goal for the Panthers (2-12-0).
Charlotte Collins made 13 saves for NYA, while Erin Brewer stopped six shots for Poland.
Winslow 6, Spruce Mountain 0
WINSLOW — Paige Smith, Jenna Petrovic, Sarah Guimond and Lidia Santos each had a goal and an assist for the Winslow Black Raiders in the 6-0 victory over the Spruce Mountain Phoenix in girls’ soccer action.
Jordyn Labrie and Makenzie Carlow had the the other goals for Winslow (10-2-2).
Hillary Libby and Broghan Gagnon each made one save for the Black Raiders while Mackenzy Labrie stopped three. Amber Delaney made three saves for Spruce Mountain (1-13) while Calley Baker made nine saves.
