LEWISTON — The Maine Music Society kicks off its 25th Anniversary Season with the Battle of the Blends XXII concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Franco Center.

Six a cappella groups embody this year’s theme of Making Music Soar with their energetic vocal renditions of jazz, barbershop, pop, rock ‘n’ roll and Renaissance music.

Coming together to benefit MMS are: Good-Time Sound, The Crosstones, Talk to the Hand, Edward Little A Cappella Choir, The Nor’easters Barbershop Chorus and The Maine Music Society Chamber Singers.

General seating tickets cost $25; younger than 12, $10.
